The Tithing and Stewardship Foundation is pleased to offer a number of stewardship workshops each year, each covering broad-based stewardship material. These events are open to the public.

Most workshops will be held at LSTC, 1100 East 55th Street.

LSTC Leadership Conference – Inch by Inch: Growing a Green Congregation

Part of Earth Year observances at the seminary, this conference will specifically focus on the ways in which congregations can promote environmental awareness, participate in local and global events and reflect together on biblical and theological themes related to creation. Read more.

The Rev. Jerry Hoffman has a passion for stewardship. He believes “all life if a gift of God. Stewardship is our grateful response. A healthy Christian life trusts in the abundance of God’s gifts. God has called us into mission and provides all the resources we need to do what God wants us to do.” He is a member of the board of directors for the Stewardship Life Institute and on the work team for the Stewardship Education in the seminaries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Pastor Hoffman served congregations in Kentucky, Indiana and Minnesota for over 36 years.

Cost: free for all seminary students
$10 per participant (a maximum of $25 per congregation)
Includes presentation materials and lunch
